A five-minute walk in one direction takes you to the undeveloped beauty of Sugar Beach, five miles of white sand with the ocean on one side, and Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge on the other; perfect for your morning walk. A short walk from Maalaea Banyans 114 in the other direction leads you to Ma’alaea Harbor, the launching point for many water adventures including whale watching, snorkeling, and saltwater fishing. This is home to the Maui Ocean Center and several excellent restaurants which offer a wide assortment of dining and drinks.

When you’re rested and ready for adventure, Ma’alaea’s central location allows you to reach Maui’s famous locations easily. The Ma’alaea Banyans has been our favorite vacation spot for many years. Is there anything lovelier than April on Maui?! There are a million reasons to love this month on the Valley Isle. Days start to get longer, winter rainstorms become less frequent, and the wild and unruly surf on the north-facing shores begins to calm.

Kahana Manor 209 is complete with a foam king-size bed in the bedroom and the living room sofa pulls out to a Queen memory foam mattress. Conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from the beautiful West Maui beach Kahana, spend all day at the beach just steps away! Cool off in the pool on the property when you need a break from the sand and salt.  Plus, Kahana Manor 209 is situated upstairs from shops and restaurants, making it the perfect spot to stay in this calm area of West Maui. We highly recommend Miso Phat as one of the best restaurants to get sushi!

This relaxing low-density property consists of two-story buildings terraced over twenty-four acres of immaculate tropical landscaping. Beautiful Ulua Beach fronting the property is a well-known snorkeling destination and is great for watching dramatic sunsets, swimming, sunning, and whale watching in the winter months.

Wailea Elua Village is a gated air-conditioned property that includes two swimming pools, Jacuzzi, a beachfront pavilion with barbeques, a pickleball/paddle tennis court and free private parking. The spacious interiors include fully equipped kitchens, washers & dryers, cable television, free local and long-distance phone service, private lanais, and luxury linens supplied directly by Ali’i Resorts. Housekeeping services are included at this resort property. If you have a stay that qualifies for housekeeping services, traditional housekeeping service will be performed every 3rd day. The Inn is wonderfully rural surrounded by monkeypod trees, mango, banana, and papaya plants with echoes of the Wailuku River streaming through the property. This Central Maui location allows a convenient drive to beautiful sandy beaches (15-20 minutes), the major resort areas of South and West Maui (30-40 minutes), and popular visitor attractions, including Iao Valley State Park just 2 miles up the road. After a long day of traveling or lounging at the beach, many of our guests enjoy relaxing to the sounds of Wailuku River on their private lanai, or as they say, “it feels like coming home.”
