Great meals are easy to find on the Valley Isle, thanks to an abundance of Maui food trucks!
Food trucks are where some of Maui’s best local chefs get their start. Plus, they offer a flexible alternative to sit-down dining and scheduling reservations.
If you’re a foodie, here are six Maui food trucks you can’t miss on your next visit.

6 Maui Food Trucks You Can’t Miss
South Maui Fish Company — Kihei
South Maui Fish Company serves some of the freshest fish on the island, sourced daily from local fishers. Veteran-owned and family-operated, South Maui Fish Company is a go-to food truck in Kihei for fresh poke, fish tacos, and more.
This place is best described as a food truck from the heart. Only the best shows up on your plate here—whether it’s ahi, mahi, snapper, or something else from the sea. Sauces are house-made in small batches, and the chefs get creative with daily specials, so you never know what might turn up on the menu. This spot can get crowded, but rest assured, it’s worth the wait.
Bacon & Blossom — Kihei
Look for the chic black-and-white food truck at the Kihei Food Oasis at South Maui Gardens. Congratulations —you’ve found Bacon and Blossom—a seed-oil-free kitchen serving a wide range of comfort food, from loco moco and pancakes to salads and sandwiches.
Bacon and Blossom is as wholesome as it gets. They cook with ghee and beef tallow. Many of their ingredients are sourced from local farms. They have an extensive gluten-free menu. And aloha is served in heaping doses daily.
Burger Boys — Kihei
Burger Boys in the Kihei Food Oasis is a must-stop for burger lovers. We’ve heard from burger connoisseurs that this spot serves one of the best smash burgers in the entire state.
Rather than reinvent the wheel, Burger Boys keeps their small menu focused on quality and consistency. Burgers are made with 100% F1 Wagyu beef and served on a soft shokupan (Japanese milk bread) bun, sourced fresh daily from Wailuku’s Shikeda Bakery. The signature sauce is house-made, and produce comes directly from local farmers. Come check it out for yourself!
Kraken Coffee — Multiple Locations
What started as a humble coffee truck blossomed into a thriving business with not one, not two, not three…but five locations—and counting. Kraken Coffee’s beans are grown in Maui’s rich volcanic soil, then brewed into creative concoctions. Try the Mocha Wao with white chocolate and mac nut, or go for something extra sweet like the Dirty Kraken Chai Frappe.
With drive-thrus in Kihei and Kahului and a new Wailea cafe, you’re never far from a Kraken caffeine fix!
Earth Aloha Eats — Kaanapali
Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or simply a health-conscious eater, Earth Aloha Eats in Kaanapali has a menu worth getting excited about. Earth Aloha Eats has mastered the art of vegan comfort food and loaded its menu with familiar favorites. Think crispy “chicken” sandwiches, pulled “pork,” and “fish” and chips. Plus, there are lighter, more traditional options like Buddha Bowls and falafel wraps.
Baya Bowls — Kapalua (DT Fleming)
A colorful acai bowl on the beach is what vacation dreams are made of. This dream becomes reality at Baya Bowls, a humble acai and smoothie truck nestled just steps from Kapalua’s DT Fleming beach.
Baya Bowls has been a West Maui staple for tasty bowls since 2015. Sadly, the original truck was lost in the August 8th wildfires. Baya Bowls reopened in December 2024 at DT Fleming beach, and still serves up the same great bowls and sweet service. Go say hello and grab a bowl!
