This lively gastropub located in the Shops of Wailea boasts five hours of happy hour daily. Indulge in tasty discounted eats like $8 mac and cheese and $5 sliders. Or, sip a $7 well drink while watching the game on TV. Draft beers are $2 off, and kamaʻaina get 20 percent off food. Stay nearby at Hale Hui Kai 112.

Gilligan’s Bar & Grill

1 pm – 5 pm daily

With great views, cheap brews, and ono food, Gilliganʻs has one of the best happy hours in South Maui. Located in the Maui Nui Golf Club, this indoor/outdoor South Maui restaurant features $5 Longboard drafts and $3 well shots in a picturesque setting. Fans of domestic beer will love the $2 PBR and $4 Coors Light draft.

 

Moose McGillycuddy’s

4 pm – 7 pm daily

Moose McGillycuddy’s has been one of South Kihei’s most popular watering holes since it opened in 1991. Stop by to sip on discounted beer, wine, and cocktails and enjoy views of Kamaole Beach II in the comfort of Mooses’ ice-cold AC. Themed weeknight specials are worth sticking around for, with discounts on food and free games: think Monday Bingo Night and Thursday Shrimp Fest.

Kahale’s

10:30 am – Close daily

Kahale’s is Maui’s oldest dive bar – and boasts some of the cheapest happy hour specials on Maui. Plus, their happy hour basically runs all day! A pint of a domestic draft will set you back about $4, while well drinks are only $5. No food is served at Kahale’s, so pick up your favorite takeout to bring in.

Life’s A Beach

Open – Close daily

Every hour is happy hour at Life’s A Beach! Nestled on a buzzy corner across from Kalama Park, Life’s A Beach serves up margaritas and mai tais for $5.50 and tacos for $2 – all day, every day. Stick around for live DJs on Friday and Saturday nights and karaoke Thursday through Sunday.

Monkeypod Kitchen

3:30 pm – 5 pm daily

Monkeypod’s famous lilikoi foam mai tais are $4 off during happy hour! This Peter Merriman restaurant is also known for its beer selection and handcrafted pizza – both of which are discounted during happy hour as well. Come hungry and thirsty. This is one of the best happy hours in South Maui.

Three’s Bar and Grill

3 pm – 6 pm daily

While happy hours are usually all about the drinks, Three’s features an extensive happy hour food menu. Get down with some affordable fish tacos, pork belly, fried noodles, and hot wings, or opt for a sushi roll from the raw bar. Of course, you can still get your libation fix with specials on top-shelf cocktails, beer, and wine.

Nalu’s South Shore Grill

3 pm – 6 pm daily

Nalu’s is beloved by residents and visitors for its ono menu and good vibes. Happy hour features a slew of drink specials, like $5 margaritas and well drinks. Even when it’s not happy hour, you’ll enjoy all-day drink specials like $5.25 Corona and Pacifico.

Dog and Duck Irish Pub

3 pm – 6 pm daily

Dog and Duck’s daily happy hour is straightforward: $3 Bud Lights and $5 Mai Tais. But this Kihei pub likes to keep things interesting. Each day of the week features a different special, like “2 for Tuesday,” where a pint and a shot are just $8 all day. You never know what kind of fun awaits you at Dog and Duck.

This Mediterranean restaurant in the Wailea Gateway Center has a surprisingly excellent happy hour. Select specialty cocktails and a range of local and imported beers are only $5. Plus, you can chow down on a selection of happy hour pupus under $10, like hummus and pita and mini Greek burgers.

11 am – 6 pm daily

You can’t go wrong with Ohana’s seven-hour happy hour. This indoor/outdoor restaurant across from Kalama Park does it right with $5 mimosas, mai tais, margaritas, bloody marys, and Maui Brewing Co seltzers. Beer lovers can knock back a few $3 Buds and Coors. Be sure to stick around after happy hour for nightly live music.

2 pm – 5 pm daily

Tommy Bahama is a happy hour fan favorite, not only because of its discounted drink specials but also because of its happy hour food menu. Go for a $9 wine or $6 draft beer paired with a $12 plate of warm goat cheese dip, coconut shrimp, or blistered shishito peppers.

Luana Lounge

8 pm – 10 pm daily

If you’re hoping to hit happy hour a little later in the evening, set your sights on Luana Lounge at the Fairmont. Admittedly, there are cheaper happy hours out there. But the quality and service at Luana Lounge are unmatched. Enjoy $12 Luana cocktails, $6 Maui Brewing Company beers, and ½ off select wines by the bottle. Plus, live music runs from 7-10 pm on Friday and Saturday!
